Forever In Our Hearts
May 2 , 1939 - May 13, 2024
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, and I have kept the faith:
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness......
2 Timothy 4: 7-8
We
Thank
You
On May 20th, 2024, we laid to rest our beloved, Danielle Louise Fouche Despinosse. The overwhelming support our family has received is unparalleled. Our family was deeply moved by all those who were able to attend her services. We laughed together, reminisced about the good times, and cried together as we grappled with the reality of her absence. We understand so many others wanted to join in the celebration of her life but could not do so in person. Even then, we sincerely appreciate every call, gift, and thoughtful gesture. Thank you for being there for us during this time.
Navigating life without her will be challenging, but we are confident that our Lord will strengthen us. As a unit, we are committed to leaning on each other for support, finding solace in our cherished memories, and embracing the love that Danielle left behind. Her spirit will forever live in our hearts, guiding us through the difficult days ahead. Your continued prayers and well wishes mean the world to us, serving as a beacon of light in our time of darkness. As we navigate this new chapter without her physical presence, with faith as our anchor, we will persevere, knowing that her love will guide us through.
Life will never be the same without her but we praise God for the many lives she was able to touch while she was with us. May you honor her life by doing the same.
Many Thanks,
The Fouche - Despinosse Family
Danielle Louise Despinosse passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024, at the age of 85. Danielle, affectionately known as Soeur Da, was born on May 2, 1939, in Cap-Haitian, Haiti to the late Anita Fouche and Mozart Cherazar.
Danielle’s early years were spent in Cap-Haitian, and she moved Port-au-Prince, Haiti, when she meet the love of her life Joseph Despinosse. Together they raised a family of five children. After migrating to the United States, the couple settled in Queens, New York for 30 years where they worked tirelessly to provide for their family. In 2002, the couple re-located to Lauderhill, Florida where they enjoyed their retirement. Together, Danielle and Joseph shared almost 60 loving years, filled with precious moments that will be treasured forever.
Danielle loved the Lord faithfully and was a devoted Catholic before becoming an equally devoted Seventh Day Adventist in 2000. While in Florida she was a member of Bon Samaritain French SDA Church and Emmanuel French SDA Church. Danielle was a woman of prayer and could be often found joining prayer line services throughout the day. She instilled the love of the Lord in all those around her. Danielle loved cooking and many of her cherished memories surrounded meals with anyone she could feed. Her other pastimes included gardening, spending time with family, talking on the phone, shopping, sewing embroidery designs, and crocheting custom designed pieces for others.
Danielle will be remembered for her kind heart and gentle spirit. Her selfless nature had no boundaries and came with no strings attached. She had a deep dedication to her family and friends and would give whatever she had to provide for them. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
Danielle leaves behind her husband, Joseph Despinosse, sons; Reginald Fouche, and Mario Despinosse; daughters; Lynda Fouche, Natalie Despinosse and Marjorie Despinosse; sisters Christiane Bazin and Michelle Fouche and brother Theogene Fouche; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 3 fur grandbabies.

As Danielle would say from her favorite verse “ the Lord is my light and my salvation--- whom shall I fear? “
